Hildegard von Bingen already appreciated the valuable properties of this plant and recommended it for external use against skin irritations caused by scabies mites. Woodland Germander Ointment, rich in essential oils, saponins, tannins, glycosides and flavonoids, gives the skin a pleasant freshness and can be applied in cases of skin irritation, the effects of burns, insect bites and as a treatment for poorly regenerating cracks and damage to the skin.
