Tuna Oil

Tuna Oil is a valuable source of omega-3 fatty acids, especially eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are essential for human development. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart, the maintenance of normal blood pressure, and normal blood triglyceride levels. DHA also contributes to maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. It is particularly important for breastfeeding mothers and their infants: maternal intake of DHA contributes to normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infant. The intake of DHA intake contributes to the normal visual development of infants up to 12 months of age. In general, omega-3 fatty acids are vital for the organism: replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet has been shown to lower blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease. Our Tuna Oil is obtained from Atlantic salmon using a particularly gentle process.
