Hence, it is also called rocket. Rocket is mainly grown as a salad plant. The garden mustard was already eaten in the Mediterranean region in Roman times and was even considered an aphrodisiac. Due to its high content of mustard oil, the plant is used externally to care for stressed muscles, for baths, foot baths or moist compresses.
