Description
Locust Bean Gum GPH Powder
The carob tree (or locust tree) belongs to the legume family (Fabaceae). The carbo tree’s fruits are of particular interest as the carob bean gum is gained by detaching the endosperms and pulverizing the seeds. The carob bean gum cannot be enzymatically degraded for the body and is therefore counted to the dietary fibres. Due to its welling capabilities, the carob bean gum is frequently used as a natural thickener and stabilizing agent. It thus occurs often in sweets, sauces, soups, pudding, and ice cream. Carob bean gum furthermore serves as a baking aid in gluten-free bread for dietary purposes.
