Guar Gum GPH Powder

The guar (also called cluster bean) belongs to the legume family (Fabaceae) and is indigenous to the arid regions of India and Pakistan. The guar gum is gained from the guar’s seeds and consists mainly of herbal mucins. These ingredients are capable of binding a large amount of water and, with addition of small amounts of liquid, form gels. These features establish guar gum as an all-rounder. For example, it prevents solidification in ice cream and ensures that the ice cream remains creamy. In diet cuisine, the gum is known as a substantial dish resulting from its high dietary fibre concentration.
