Glucosamine, a precursor for hyaluronic acid, is produced by the body itself and is the main component for cartilage, sinews, ligaments, and bone structures and is also essential for conjunctive tissue and skin. Also for connective tissue and skin, glucosamine is an essential substance. However, with increasing age, the endogenous glucosamine production declines often. This can lead to a reduction of the water content in the cartilage. The consequence is an impairment of the cushioning function of the cartilage against shocks and vibrations. The glucosamine sulphate of this product is purely plant-based and gained through fermentation.
