CUSSET Joint plus

„Joint plus“ is the unique combination of chondroitin, glucosamine, green-lipped mussel powder and rose hip extract, which was developed together with experienced vets. This sensibly high-dose formula supports joint function and the horse’s defences. Glucosamine, a precursor of hyaluronic acid, serves as a basic component for cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones due to its high structural viscosity. Glucosamine is also essential for connective tissue and skin. Chondroitin is the main substance in cartilage tissue. Both are natural substances. The green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) from the waters around New Zealand is characterised by its high content of glycosaminoglycans. These occur naturally in joint cartilage, synovial fluid and connective tissue and have the special property of binding water. This increases the elasticity of the tissue. Rosehip extract with its high vitamin C content also stimulates the body’s defences.
