This lipophilic ointment made of beeswax and hydrogenated peanut oil breaks when warmed up on the skin and the escaping fluid evaporates with the absorption of energy. Consequently, a slight cooling effect is created. The balm is also appreciated for its great tolerability as it does not contain any emulsifiers or preservatives. It is applicable for atopic dermatitis, pruritus, acute to subacute skin conditions, and for skincare.
