Calendula Balm GPH

The one or two year old calendula belongs to the genus of the daisy family, and has a distinctive odour coming from the sticky glands of its leaves. First records of the calendula use as a medical plant are dated as early as the 12th century. Our calendula balm is manufactured based on an old in-house recipe of the Löwen-Apotheke in Bohemia. The calendula’s extracts promote the production of granulation tissue and have antiphlogistic, wound-healing, and immunostimulatory properties. Calendula balm is a skin care balm for dry, brittle skin and regenerates in cases of abrasions and skin irritations.
