Burgerstein L-Carnitine contains 600 mg of pure L-Carnitine (Carnipure©) per tablet. In the human body, the vitamin-like nutrient carnitine is synthesized by iron, vitamin C, B6, B12, folic acid, niacin and enzymes. Our body produces L-carnitine itself from the amino acids methionine and lysine. It is absorbed through the diet mainly via animal foods, such as red meat.
