Myrrh (Commiphora molmol) also known as sweet cicely or sweet chervil, is a member of the incense tree family (Burseraceae). The plant has disinfectant and granulation promoting properties that are used for inflammatory diseases of the buccal and pharyngeal mucosa. The Peruvian rhatany (Krameria Triandra) is a plant species in the Krameria family (Krameriaceae). Only the puce root that mainly contains tannins is used. It is used for gingivitis, pressure marks from protheses or dental braces, and for everyday oral hygiene.
