Sage (Salvia officinalis L.) is a genus of plant in the Lamiaceae family. Sage is a versatile plant and is rich in essential oils (e.g. cineole, camphene). It can stimulate blood circulation in the skin. Furthermore, disinfectant properties are attributed to sage. The ointment base consists of Cera lanae, combined with jojoba oil and almond oil, which has excellent skin care effects.
