The blueberry is a low-growing shrub from the Ericaceae family. It contains tannins and the blue pigment anthocyanin, which is typical for blueberries. This has a high antioxidant potential which particularly benefits the walls of the fine blood vessels of the eyes. Free radicals now play a subordinate role. Especially at dusk, the eye’s adaptation time after glare is shortened and a full vision is restored more quickly. For the blueberry extract, the ingredients of the blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) are first extracted and then dried.
