Floradix® Iron plus B12 was developed for the plant-based diet. The dietary supplement ensures the supply of readily available divalent iron in normal, but also in increased iron requirements, e.g. due to menstruation, endurance sports, pregnancy and lactation. To ensure that the iron reserve supports a vital, normal energy metabolism in these cases, supplementation at an early stage makes sense. As a special feature, Floradix® Iron plus B12 Capsules additionally contain vitamin B12 as directly metabolizable, active methylcobalamin. Especially with plant-based diets, a supplementary supply of vitamin B12 is necessary, because it can not be available in the diet due to the renunciation of animal foods.
