Okoubaki bark ointment is made from the pulverised bark of the okoubaka tree. This is a West African jungle tree that is mainly native in Ghana and in the Ivory Coast. Okoubaka bark contains tannins, amino acids, sterols, catechin compounds and phenolic carboxylic acids such as gallic acid and protocatechuic acid. The ointment can not only be used for cradle cap, but also for the treatment of other skin problems.
