Methylene Blue 1%

Methylene blue 1 %, aqueous, is a deep blue solution used in various applications including histology, microbiology, biology, and textile industry. Methylene blue was first produced in 1876 and is the earliest patented „tar dye“. In histology, methylene blue 1% is often used as a staining reagent to visualise nucleic acids and cell structures.
