Pu Erh is a type of tea produced in the southern Chinese province of Yunnan from leaves of the Assam variety of the tea plant. The characteristic ingredient of black tea are theanine and caffeine. In addition, essential oils and tannins are found. The Pu Erh extract, incorporated into a high-quality ointment foundation with almond and jojoba oil, has healing properties and can be used to treat minor superficial wounds. Furthermore, it can be applied as a treatment for dry skin.
