Lycopodium, also called snake moss, witchweed or devil’s claw, belongs to the Lycopodium family (Lycopodiaceae). The spores of Lycopodium contain a fine, pale yellow, tasteless spore dust, popularly known as witch’s meal, which is popularly used for bladder complaints, cramps, diarrhea, rheumatism and gout, but also for painful urination.
